Description

The United Engine & Machine Co KB400.040 is a set of eight hypereutectic pistons designed for high-performance applications. These pistons feature a dome style with two valve reliefs and are constructed from a low-expansion 390 alloy with 16 percent silicon, allowing for tighter piston-to-wall running clearance.

The KB400.040 pistons include fully machined head and valve reliefs, triple spiral lock rings, and CNC-machined pin bores. They also incorporate an accumulator groove for improved compression ring seal, machined-in oil returns, and diamond-finished skirts. The piston ring size is 5/64 x 5/64 x 3/16, and wrist pins and spiral locks are included.
