This is a performance replacement engine (HP57) for 1987-1991 Corvettes, designed for a smooth idle and daily driving. It features a 4-bolt main block, hypereutectic pistons with 10:1 compression, and Edelbrock performer aluminum cylinder heads. Recommended components include an externally balanced flexplate/flywheel and an internally balanced balancer.
