The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1890B is a remanufactured rear axle assembly, built to exacting standards for a precise fit and reliable performance. This assembly is engineered for 1997-1999 Dodge Dakota models with a 2WD driveline. It boasts a Chrysler 8.25-inch ring gear, a 3.21 gear ratio, and includes Posi-Traction for improved traction and handling. During the Zumbrota Drivetrain remanufacturing process, all tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for wear and cracks. A thorough inspection of all internal parts, including the ring and pinion, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, is conducted. To ensure longevity and optimal function, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The assembly undergoes a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore the housing to its original OEM finish.
