Chrysler 8.25" 3.55 Posi-traction Remanufactured Axle Assembly

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2207A is a remanufactured axle assembly featuring a 3.55 gear ratio for Chrysler 8.25 inch axles. This assembly is designed for 4x4 models without traction control but includes Posi-traction for enhanced grip. The remanufacturing process for this axle assembly is extensive. It begins with inspecting and straightening all tubes to meet OEM specifications, followed by testing housings for surface wear and cracks. Internally, 100% of components, including ring and pinion gears, clutches, and carriers, are inspected. To ensure optimal performance and longevity, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts. The housing is then hydro-blasted to achieve an OEM finish, and precise rolling torque is set using inch-pound measurements. This axle assembly is specifically designed for 2004-2005 Dodge Durango 4x4 models. It is important to note that this assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, which must be sourced separately.
