The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2146A-P is a fully remanufactured axle assembly, meticulously rebuilt to the highest standards of precision and reliability. This unit is specifically designed for Chrysler 8.25-inch differentials, featuring a 3.55 gear ratio and a Posi Limited Slip Differential for improved traction and performance. Each axle assembly undergoes a rigorous inspection process, including checks for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, such as ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are thoroughly inspected and tested. Zumbrota Drivetrain replaces all bearings and seals, and meticulously inspects gears for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque. Gear backlash is precisely set to ensure proper lubrication and quiet operation, while axle tubes are verified to meet OEM standards for straightness. Zumbrota employs an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure on both internal and external parts, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning process, which sets a high standard for remanufactured axle assemblies. This specific assembly is for 2003-2004 Dakota 4x4 models and includes the differential cover. Fluid is not included with this assembly.
