The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1437E-P is a remanufactured axle assembly designed for 1985-1989 Dodge D100, D150, and Ramcharger models equipped with the Chrysler 8.25-inch rear axle. This assembly features a 3.90 gear ratio and a Posi Traction limited-slip differential for enhanced traction. Each axle assembly undergoes a thorough inspection of all tubes, ensuring they are straightened to OEM specifications. Housings are meticulously tested for surface wear and cracks. Internally, all components, including the ring and pinion gears, internal gears, and clutches, are inspected 100%. Critical wear items such as bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts. To restore the appearance and integrity of the housing, Zumbrota employs a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process, bringing the case back to its original OEM finish. The assembly is completed with precise setup, establishing the correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements to guarantee optimal performance and longevity.
