The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1541D is a comprehensively remanufactured complete axle assembly, built to exacting standards for Chrysler 8.25" axles. This unit is designed for 1989-1993 Dodge 1/2 Ton D100 and D150 2WD models equipped with ABS, featuring a 3.55 gear ratio and Posi Traction for improved drivetrain performance. Each axle assembly undergoes rigorous inspection processes, including checks for straightness, cracks, and surface wear on housings and tubes to ensure they meet OEM specifications. Internal components, such as ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are 100% inspected and tested. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts. The assembly is precisely set with correct gear backlash and rolling torque, established using inch-pound measurements, to ensure optimal tooth contact patterns, longevity, and quiet operation.
