The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2153A is a remanufactured axle assembly designed to meet the specific needs of your vehicle's drivetrain. This unit features a 3.55 gear ratio and is built for Chrysler 9.25-inch ring gear differentials with a 12-bolt hexagon cover. It is specifically configured for 4WD applications and does not include posi-traction. Please note that hubs, brakes, backing plates, and axle shafts are sold separately and are not included in this assembly. Each Zumbrota axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process. This includes thorough inspection of housing for straightness, cracks, and surface wear, as well as 100% inspection of all internal components like ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. Gears are precisely set for optimal tooth contact, correct rolling torque, and proper backlash to ensure longevity and quiet operation. The housings are cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary deep cleaning process. This axle assembly is designed for the 2003 Dodge Durango 4WD. Ensure compatibility with your specific vehicle configuration before purchase. The product is backed by a 2-year limited warranty.
