Description

The Grote 82-2247 is a 50A high amperage thermal circuit breaker designed to protect a vehicle's electrical system. It features a Type III manual-reset design and operates within a temperature range of -40°C (-40°F) to 85°C (185°F). This circuit breaker is constructed from thermoplastic material and is UL rated for its housing.

This surface-mount circuit breaker is suitable for auxiliary and accessory circuits in trucks, buses, RVs, and marine applications. It also functions as a battery charger and in DC audio systems. The unit operates at 42 VDC and includes stud insulators with 1/4” – 28 thread studs. Standards include UL Rated - Housing, SAE J1625, and SAE J1171.
