The VIOFO CPL-200 is a circular polarizing lens filter engineered to enhance the image quality of compatible VIOFO dash cameras. By minimizing distracting reflections from surfaces such as glass, metal, water, and paint, it significantly improves image contrast and color saturation, delivering clearer and more vivid footage, especially in bright daylight conditions. Beyond its optical benefits, the CPL-200 filter also functions as a protective layer for your dash cam's lens, shielding it from everyday wear and tear, including fingerprints, dust, and minor scratches. The filter features a multi-resistant coating that makes it scratch-resistant, dust-resistant, and easy to clean, ensuring sustained performance and clarity. Installation of the CPL-200 is designed to be straightforward. For front cameras, it clips over the lens housing, and the filter itself can be rotated to optimize the level of polarization. Compatibility is specific, as the VIOFO CPL-200 is designed for front cameras and is not compatible with IR rear cameras. It is also important to note that the dash camera itself is not included with the CPL filter purchase. The CPL-200 filter is specifically compatible with VIOFO dash cams including the A329S, A329, A229, A139, A139 PRO, T130, and WM1 models.
