The Link ECU CIVICLink HC96X is a plug-in engine control unit designed for specific Honda and Acura models. It fits inside the factory OEM enclosure and requires no alteration of the factory wiring loom for installation. This ECU is designed for the 1996-1998 Honda B16 and B18 engines utilizing the Honda “OBD2A” ECU, and is compatible with manual transmissions only.

The Link ECU CIVICLink HC96X (SKU 206-4000) is a G4X PlugIn ECU engineered to maximize the potential of your vehicle's engine management. Specifically designed for the 1996-1998 Honda B16 and B18 engines that use the Honda “OBD2A” ECU, this ECU is exclusively for manual transmission vehicles. While most factory features are supported, an onboard MAP sensor is not included, and the E-Throttle functionality requires a modification before it can be used. Key features of the G4X PlugIn ECU include up to 6D fuel and ignition mapping, precision closed-loop cam control for four cams with independent control, and sequential fuel delivery. It supports digital triggering for all OEM patterns and offers 5D boost control with three switchable tables. Motorsport features such as antilag, launch, and flat shifting are also included, alongside continuous barometric correction via an onboard sensor. The unit provides QuickTune automated fuel tuning, individual cylinder correction, and real-time selectable dual fuel, ignition, and boost maps. Gear compensations for spark, boost, and fuel are integrated for enhanced performance tuning. The CIVICLink HC96X is compatible with the following applications: ACURA: 98-99 CL & 00-01 Integra LS/GS/GS-R/Type-R; HONDA: 98-02 Accord DX/LX/EX, 99-00 Civic DX/LX/EX/Si.
