Description

The United Engine & Machine Co 9907HC.040 is a set of KB Hypereutectic Claimer pistons designed for Chevrolet Small Block V8 engines. These pistons feature a 4.165" bore and a 1.565" compression distance. They are compatible with 3.480" crankshaft stroke with a 5.700" connecting rod for a 379ci displacement, or a 3.750" crankshaft stroke with a 5.565" connecting rod for a 409ci displacement.

Constructed from Hypereutectic 390 Alloy with 16% Silicon, these pistons include CNC machined pin bores, diamond-finished skirts with an anti-friction coating, and machined oil returns. They also feature accumulator grooves for improved compression ring seal and cast-in symmetrical valve reliefs. The pistons come with pins and Tru-Arc lock rings for press-fit or floating applications.
