Class 1 Trailer Hitch Receiver

The Draw-Tite 24796 is a custom-fit Class 1 trailer hitch receiver engineered to provide a perfect fit for select Nissan Altima and Maxima models. Constructed from solid, all-welded steel, it ensures maximum strength and safety, with a black powder coat finish over e-coat to resist rust and corrosion. This hitch features a 1.25-inch square receiver opening, ideal for attaching accessories such as bike racks or cargo carriers, or for towing utility trailers. It is rated to tow up to 2,000 lbs. gross trailer weight (GTW) and can handle a maximum tongue weight (TW) of 200 lbs. It is important to note that this hitch is not compatible with weight distribution systems. Installation of the Draw-Tite 24796 hitch requires drilling and takes approximately 45 minutes. The necessary mounting hardware is included with the hitch. Installation notes indicate that temporary removal of the muffler may be required, and the hitch crosstube will be visible beneath the bumper. Trunk access is also necessary for installation.
