The complete kit also includes a Curt 56511 Vehicle-Side Custom 4-Pin Trailer Wiring Harness, a Curt 57187 4-Way to 5-Way Flat Adapter for boat trailers with surge brakes, and a Curt 58303 Vehicle-Side Trailer Wiring Harness Mounting Bracket for the 5-way flat connector. The wiring harness provides a plug-and-play solution for trailer lighting, eliminating the need for cutting or splicing. The adapter allows a 4-way flat vehicle socket to connect to a 5-way flat trailer plug, specifically for boat trailers with surge brakes, adding a fifth wire for reverse lights.
