Description

The REESE 96929 is a Class 5 trailer hitch with a 2-inch square receiver opening, designed for heavy-duty towing. It is rated for up to 12,000 lbs. Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) and 1,200 lbs. Tongue Weight (TW). When used with a weight distribution system, it can handle up to 15,000 lbs. Weight Distribution (WD) and 1,500 lbs. Weight Distribution Tongue Weight (WDTW). The hitch features solid, all-welded steel construction with a black powder coat finish for rust and corrosion resistance. It includes larger chain loops, a tighter ball mount fit, and reinforced pin holes. All necessary mounting hardware is included, and it's backed by a nationwide lifetime limited warranty. REESE trailer hitches are tested to exceed V-5 and SAE J684 standards.
