The Skar Audio RP-1200.1D is a Class D MOSFET monoblock power amplifier engineered for robust audio output. It delivers a substantial 1,200 watts RMS at 1 ohm and can reach a peak power of 1,600 watts at 1 ohm, making it suitable for driving demanding subwoofer systems. This amplifier boasts a frequency response range of 20Hz - 250Hz, ensuring deep bass reproduction. For enhanced low-end control, it includes an on-board bass EQ switch with selectable +6dB or +12dB boost at 45Hz. The unit is equipped with 4-way protection circuitry, safeguarding it against thermal, voltage, and other potential issues. Designed for maximum current flow, the RP-1200.1D features 4 gauge power and ground input terminals and maintains stability at 1 ohm. It also includes a highly efficient heatsink design for optimal reliability and performance, along with a remote subwoofer level control for convenient bass adjustment from the listener's position.
