Classic 3 with MS3X Expansion Engine Management System

The Classic MegaSquirt 3 with MS3X Expansion is a powerful and flexible engine management solution designed for competitive drag cars, time attack machines, or high-performance street cars. It offers advanced capabilities that surpass earlier MS1 and MS2 systems, including sequential fuel and spark, boost control, 2-step launch, progressive nitrous, and onboard traction control, making it ideal for budget-conscious racers seeking professional-level features or custom EFI conversions requiring full sequential control. This ECU features 8 sequential fuel injector outputs, each capable of driving a high-impedance injector, and 8 logic-level ignition outputs that support LSx coils and other smart coils. It also includes 6 medium current outputs suitable for boost control, fan control, or relay outputs, along with 3 analog sensor inputs for connecting external sensors like MAP or O2 sensors. Additionally, it offers 4 switch inputs for functions such as table switching or launch control, and 1 cam sync input compatible with various cam sensor types. The system provides 16x16 VE and ignition tables for precise tuning, with 0.1% fuel step resolution and 0.1° ignition accuracy. Data logging is supported via a built-in USB port and an SD card socket. The MS3X also features CANBus support for expansion modules and includes idle and mixture control, supporting GM stepper IAC and closed-loop idle and AFR control. Extensive OEM trigger pattern support is built-in for compatibility with many crank/cam signals. Note that this system requires external ignition drivers or smart coils, and an SD card and wiring harness are sold separately.
