The Raceland Classic Coilover Kit is engineered to enhance the performance and aesthetics of your Volkswagen Golf GTI MK4 (1999-2005). This adjustable coilover system provides a ride height adjustment range of 1 to 3 inches lower than the factory setting, allowing you to achieve a desired stance and lower the vehicle's center of gravity for improved handling and grip. Developed and road-tested in the USA, these coilovers aim for a balance between comfortable street performance and sportier handling. The dampers and springs are powder-coated to offer enhanced resistance against corrosion from harsh weather and coastal conditions. The kit includes adjustable CNC-machined locking perches and spanner wrenches for height adjustment. It is important to note that when lowering your vehicle, proper wheel and tire fitment is crucial to prevent rubbing. Depending on wheel offset and tire size, wheel spacers or fender rolling may be necessary. Additionally, the installation of this coilover kit requires the use of new, unused front stretch bolts; failure to replace these bolts can lead to damage to other suspension and drive components.
