The Classic MegaSquirt 3 ECU with PCB3.57 from DIYAutoTune is a robust standalone engine management system designed to provide advanced control over your engine's performance. It offers significant upgrades over previous MS1 and MS2 platforms, featuring greater processing power, 16x16 VE and ignition tables with full interpolation, and a 0.1% fuel step resolution with 0.1° ignition accuracy. For enhanced usability, it includes a built-in USB port for direct laptop connectivity and an SD card socket for onboard data logging. This ECU is initially preconfigured for basic fuel and spark setups, utilizing batch fire injection and a single logic-level ignition output. It supports closed-loop fuel and idle control, GM stepper IAC, staged injection, and native support for many OEM crank/cam trigger patterns. For more advanced applications, such as sequential fuel injection and ignition control, the optional MS3X expansion card is required and sold separately. With the MS3X, the system can manage up to 8 channels of sequential fuel injection and 8 channels of sequential ignition control, enabling features like cylinder-by-cylinder fuel and spark trim, 2-stage progressive nitrous control, table switching for dual fuel, and launch control.
