The TSP Cleetus McFarland "Bald Eagle" LS3 N/A Camshaft is a performance upgrade for naturally aspirated LS3 engines utilizing rectangular port heads. This cam is designed to provide an aggressive idle lope and enhanced performance, suitable for engines with a 6.0L or 6.2L displacement. The specifications include a duration of 229/242 at .050" lift, .600"/.600" lift, a 112 LSA, and a 109 ICL. Installation of this camshaft requires a 3-bolt cam core. If your vehicle originally came with a single-bolt core, a 3-bolt upper timing sprocket and ARP cam bolt kit are necessary for proper installation. Additionally, this camshaft requires the removal of DOD/AFM and VVT systems if present from the factory. For optimal performance and drivability, a minimum stall speed of 2800+ RPM for the torque converter is recommended for automatic transmissions. The operating RPM range for this cam is 2000-6800 RPM. Texas Speed & Performance recommends pairing the "Bald Eagle" N/A cam with their TSP dual spring kit, which includes PAC Racing polished dual valve springs, titanium retainers, spring seats, and valve seals, to ensure proper valve control. A desired compression ratio of 10.5:1+ is recommended. This camshaft is not legal for sale or use in the state of California.
