Engineered with 60% more silicon than comparable competitive replacements, they provide better conditioning of journal surfaces. This results in greater seizure and wear resistance.

This bearing is engineered with a 100 percent lead-free aluminum silicon bi-metal material, featuring enhanced silicon content for superior journal surface conditioning. It offers increased wear and seizure resistance compared to leading competitors.

This specific model (CB1778A20) is designed for a 0.020 inch (0.50mm) crankshaft undersize. It is sold individually and requires the connecting rod bore to be resized to 0.002 inches larger than stock. The bearing material is AL-5 and it does not feature a dowel pin hole or a narrow design.
