Clevite 77 manufactures a full line of exclusive TriMetal? copper lead high performance bearings. These "P" Series bearings have high crush qualities for maximum bearing retention, high eccentricity to account for bore distortion and reduced overlay thickness to prevent fatigue. All Clevite 77 Engine Bearings are color coded for quick and positive identification of undersizes, virtually eliminating confusion or errors in installation. This particular main bearing set is a 0.020 inch undersize for Small Block Chevy engines.

Ideal for rebuilding engines where more demanding use is anticipated, such as heavy duty, motorsports, or street performance. As it is the most versatile replacement, Clevite engine bearing P-Series is suitable for most OE applications. Due to the increased load capacity of the Tri-Metal design, it is a suitable upgrade from Bi-Metal engine bearings.
