Clevite 77 P-Series bearings are designed for high-revving engines, featuring high eccentricity and a high crush factor to handle high-load factors and distortion. These bearings are built on steel backings with extra-thin overlays to prevent overlay fatigue. Most applications also have oil grooves that extend all the way around both halves for improved oiling. The P-Series is the oldest high-performance bearing series from Clevite, utilizing a Tri-Metal™ (steel-backed, intermediate copper-lead alloy, electroplated lead-tin-copper overlay) construction for superior seizure resistance, load capacity, embedability, conformability, and durability.
