Closed Deck EJ20 Stroker 2.14L Shortblock

The Outfront Motorsports Closed Deck EJ20 Stroker is a 2.14L base shortblock engineered for extreme performance applications. This shortblock features a robust closed deck design, which reinforces the combustion area to effectively handle high cylinder pressures generated by extreme boost levels, thereby preventing sleeve cracking. Unlike sleeved blocks, this design maintains the stock sleeves, eliminating the risk of dropping sleeves and coolant leaks. This engine build comprises seasoned EJ20 case halves, a closed deck process, forged pistons (with JE as the default option), Outfront Motorsports H Beam connecting rods, King Performance bearings, and a new OEM Subaru nitrite-treated 79mm crankshaft. The package is complete with rear covers, a rear seal, and pin plugs, and no core exchange is required. As configured, this block is rated to support up to 700 BHP before any further upgrades. All assembly is performed in-house within a clean room environment to ensure stringent quality control. The blocks are meticulously bored and honed using torque plates, with all tolerances double-checked and all components thoroughly cleaned and inspected prior to assembly.
