The ProTuningFreaks BM3-B58-G is the world's first, most advanced, and widely adopted cloud-based flash tuning platform designed for BMW F and G series vehicles with the B58 engine. This platform provides access to a comprehensive suite of features, including an integrated map editor with thousands of tuning tables, advanced datalogging capabilities with over 80 channels, and the ability to read and clear trouble codes. It supports on-the-fly map switching using steering wheel cruise control buttons, allowing users to select from up to 4 different maps. This tuning solution offers advanced capabilities such as AntiLag for building boost, advanced Flex Fuel tuning for any ethanol blend, and integrated REV2 controller support for secondary port fuel injection, nitrous injection, and more. It also includes features like custom throttle mapping, exhaust burble adjustments, and top speed limiter removal. The platform calibrates factory vehicle modules over the OBD port in approximately 3 minutes and offers map switching in seconds. The BM3-B58-G is compatible with a broad range of B58 engine BMW vehicles, from 2016 to the present. A WiFi adapter or OBD ENET cable is required and sold separately. Vehicles with software updates from November 2019 onwards may necessitate a DME unlock performed on the bench for OBD flashing. ProTuning Freaks advises that some installed parts may void the vehicle's factory warranty and may not be legal for on-highway use.
