The KW Clubsport 2-Way Coilover Kit is engineered for drivers who demand enhanced handling for track day events while maintaining road legality. Developed using technology derived from extensive racing experience, including victories at the Nürburgring, this kit offers a significant upgrade over stock suspension. Key features include independently adjustable rebound and compression damping. The rebound adjustment offers 16 precise clicks, while the compression adjustment provides 12 clicks for low-speed damping, allowing for fine-tuning to match driving style, tire/wheel setup, and track conditions. Constructed with stainless steel "inox-line" technology, these coilovers are built for long-term durability and corrosion resistance. They also feature continuous lowering capabilities, with a specified drop of 25-50mm on both front and rear axles. Compatibility is specific to the Audi A3 (8L) Hatchback from 09/1996 to 09/2006, including 1.8 T quattro, 1.9 TDI quattro, and S3 quattro models. Additionally, it fits the Audi S3 Sedan (8L) from 03/1998 onwards. It's important to note that wheel offset spacers may be required when using original tires. For rear axle camber adjustment, the installation of a car-specific adjustable control arm set from KW is recommended. It's crucial to be aware that this kit does not come with a German homologation certificate; individual acceptance according to §21 German law may be required. Optional spherical bearing aluminum top mounts are available for further performance enhancement but generally do not include a homologation certificate. The warranty for Club Sport coilovers is not covered under the limited lifetime warranty; it's provided on a case-by-case basis or with specific exclusions.
