The SR Performance Clutch Assist Spring is a performance-oriented upgrade for your 2015-2023 Mustang, designed to replace the heavy factory 185 lb./in. assist spring with a lighter 30 lb./in. version. This modification delivers a more linear, predictable pedal feel, making it easier to engage the clutch and shift through the gears. Built for durability, this clutch assist spring is manufactured from high-tensile strength spring steel, ensuring superior elasticity and strength. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed in 15 to 30 minutes using basic needle nose channel locks. This part is a direct-fit replacement for the original equipment. This spring is compatible with 2015-2023 Mustang GT, EcoBoost, and V6 models equipped with a manual transmission. Please note that this product is not intended for use with automatic transmissions.
