This tool kit facilitates the safe, simple, and reliable removal of the hydraulic restrictor without requiring the removal of the slave cylinder. The CDV, intended to smooth clutch engagement and reduce driveline shock, can often dull pedal feedback, slow shifts, and increase clutch wear. Removing it restores a sharper, more direct clutch feel. Constructed from durable 304 stainless steel, the kit includes precision removal and insertion tools designed for optimal performance. The knurled grip ensures easy handling, while the built-in depth and angle control safeguards internal surfaces and guarantees proper grommet alignment during installation and removal. The process involves disconnecting the clutch line, threading the removal tool into the grommet to extract it and the restrictor plate, then using the installation tool to properly seat the O-ring before reconnecting the clutch line and bleeding the system.
