The Carbonetic ACN23380-14-350z is a clutch plate disc engineered to provide drivers with dependable control for various competitive motorsport applications, including road racing, time attack, drifting, and rally events. This clutch utilizes a high carbon friction material, which boasts a coefficient of friction substantially higher than that of traditional metal LSDs. Specifically, the carbon plate in oil offers a friction coefficient of 0.25-0.35, compared to 0.05-0.15 for metal plates. This results in more than twice the differential lock strength and provides linear, stable traction during both acceleration and deceleration. The Carbonetic Carbon LSD offers significant performance advantages over metal LSDs, including more than 30 times the thermal decomposition resistance and over 70 times the service life. It also features low initial drag resistance and reliable performance, surpassing metal LSDs by over five times in this regard. The acceleration control range is also in excess of ten times that of metal LSDs, allowing for more exacting driving control in and out of turns. This clutch is virtually noiseless and compatible with automatic transmission vehicles, making it a versatile option for enhancing driving skill and performance across diverse conditions and vehicle loads.
