Action Clutch's Stage 4 (1MD) Clutch Kit is engineered for demanding conditions in race applications (Drag, Road, Drift Racing). It features a heavy-duty single diaphragm pressure plate, reinforced drive straps, and an Unsprung MIBA Ceramic (available in 4 or 6 puck) disc. This kit provides peak performance and extreme durability for low/mild horsepower vehicles. The unsprung MIBA Ceramic clutch kit offers quicker engagement but may introduce some clutch chatter, which should minimize after proper break-in. It provides maximum control and power with little compromise on reliability. Included Components: Unsprung MIBA Ceramic 6 Puck Disc, Single Diaphragm HD Pressure Plate, Pilot Bearing / Bushing (when applicable), Clutch Alignment Tool. Break-in Requirements: 500 street miles; keep RPMs under 4500, no more than half-throttle, no boost (if applicable). Proper break-in is required to retain product warranty, ensure longevity, and holding capacity. Disclaimers: Ceramic-based clutch discs are designed to increase holding capacity and durability, not necessarily life expectancy. Using a ceramic-based material for easy street driving may contribute to premature wear due to harsher engagement and a higher tendency to slip the clutch during street driving. Unsprung clutch kits are not designed for daily/street use or any constant on/off engagement environment as they can cause premature wear or damage. Increase in holding capacity is rated in Crank Torque, not Wheel Torque. This is a high-performance racing component and not intended as an OEM replacement.
