The Hays Street 650 single disc clutch kit is engineered for highly modified engines, capable of handling up to 650 naturally aspirated horsepower, or 600 HP with forced induction or nitrous. This kit is designed as a true "Street/Strip" clutch, suitable for both spirited high-performance street driving and frequent track use. It features a high-performance disc with an 8-spring hub and encapsulated damper springs, which provide triple the shock load capacity compared to standard coil springs. The sintered metallic friction surface of the disc allows for a degree of slippage during vehicle launch, preventing the violent engagement often associated with paddle-style metallic discs. Each kit includes a pressure plate, clutch disc, throwout bearing, alignment tool, and installation instructions.
