Clutch Kit with HD Organic and Sintered Kevlar Disc

The HS Tuning RSR Hybrid Clutch Kit offers a significant upgrade for your vehicle's clutch system. The clutch disc itself is a complete redesign, incorporating an HD organic friction material on the flywheel side and a segmented, sintered kevlar material on the pressure plate side, which combine to provide a smooth yet positive engagement. The lightweight, unsprung hub minimizes disc mass. The engagement point has been adjusted to be slightly higher in the pedal travel, closer to the stock engagement point. While not entirely silent at idle, the RSR Hybrid is notably quieter than most single-mass clutches and avoids the noise associated with them during low-rpm acceleration or high-rpm deceleration. This clutch has undergone extensive testing and is recommended for all high-output MQB cars and FSI/TSI vehicles equipped with turbo upgrades. It is important to note that this clutch system utilizes the factory Dual Mass Flywheel and is not compatible with a Single Mass Flywheel. For vehicles used primarily or exclusively for drag racing, alternative options such as Southbend Drag or DKM Twin Disc kits are recommended. The basic kit includes the clutch disc, pressure plate, a plastic throwout bearing, and bolts for the pressure plate and throwout bearing.
