Clutch Kit with Lightweight Flywheel

The kit includes a COPPERMIX clutch disc, an aluminum clutch cover, and a lightweight flywheel, along with flywheel bolts, a release bearing (OEM), and a sticker. Specifications include a disc outer diameter of 240mm, with allowable torques of 530 Nm (54 kgfm) kinetic friction and 794 Nm (81 kgfm) static friction. The clutch cover provides 9807 N (1000 kgf) of pressure in a push type. It is rated for an allowable output of 309 kW (420 ps). Note that due to the design and manufacturing processes for improved response and increased output, the transmission or bearings may transmit a rumbling noise compared to genuine Nissan parts. Transmission or gear noise is particularly likely to occur at idling or when accelerating or decelerating around 2000rpm, but this does not affect quality or performance. The rattling sound characteristic of some manual transmissions and specific S15 6-speed manual transmission vehicles is reported to be reduced with this clutch. Users are advised not to use with a large operating cylinder, as it may lead to misshifts due to insufficient stroke volume. Heavy pedal operation will result due to high pressure settings, making it not recommended for general-purpose use. To improve operation, excessive half-clutch operation should be avoided. This clutch kit is specifically designed for the Nissan Silvia S15 SR20DE and SR20DET models manufactured between January 1999 and August 2002. It is also noted as only being for the Autech version that is naturally aspirated (NA) for the S15 NA models. Compatibility is based on maker data for JDM cars, and fitment is not guaranteed.
