The Hybrid Racing Clutch Master Cylinder (HYB-CMC-01-06) is an OEM quality component from NISSIN, designed to provide reliable clutch release system performance. It is a direct replacement for the 2000-2009 Honda S2000 models, featuring a unique integrated fluid reservoir design that attaches directly to the aluminum housing. This design makes it a desirable upgrade for 1992-2000 Honda Civics and 1994-2001 Honda Integras, as it eliminates the need for a factory-style remote-mounted reservoir and contributes to a cleaner engine bay. While it is a direct fit for the S2000, this master cylinder is considered a "semi-universal" item for other applications. Installation in non-S2000 vehicles will necessitate modifications, including the need for a different clutch line. Additionally, a spacer may be required to adjust the push-rod length for proper fitment. It is crucial for buyers to verify the correct application before installation. Hybrid Racing is not responsible for incorrect fitment resulting from incorrect application, and explicitly states that a different clutch line is required if not used on the specified vehicles.
