Overview

The Clutch Masters FX350 performance clutch for BMW E39 M5 and Z8 models features a Formula clutch disc material that balances high grip with user-friendliness for street and track use. Paired with a Hi-Leverage™ pressure plate, it offers up to 110% more holding power. This kit is suitable for dedicated track, drift, and drag race cars that may also be driven on the street, providing easier engagement than Kevlar. The rigid-hub disc is designed for use with a stock or OEM dual-mass flywheel, but can also be used with a lightweight single-mass flywheel if increased noise and vibration are acceptable. The in-house engineered Hi-Leverage™ pressure plate requires less pedal effort and is reinforced with extra retention straps and heavy-duty rivets. Recommended for highly-tuned naturally aspirated E39 M5/Z8 models or those with forced induction. The Formula friction material (Fibertuff) is easier to drive than Kevlar but less ideal for extensive street use. Kit includes a rigid-hub Formula clutch disc, Hi-Leverage™ pressure plate, HD throw-out bearing, and clutch alignment tool.

110% Increase in Holding Capacity - STREET/RACEThe FX350 System uses the Power Plus I, Hi-Levarage, Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate utilizing our Fiber-Tough friction material. This clutch has a slightly increased holding capacity then the FX300 but will have a slightly more aggressive engagement and will produce some chatter. Similar to the FX300 this clutch is designed for the serious street enthusiast who also might spend a weekend and the track and is running a normally aspirated car that has been highly tuned with cylinder head work such as cams, or with a medium-boost turbo or supercharger setup, or up to 100hp NO2. For years enthusiasts have had to compromise durability for longevity for drivability and vice versa, however with our Fiber-Tough material we have closed the gap between these two tradeoffs.
