The cover assembly is precision-machined from billet aluminum and hard anodized (Type 3), providing approximately 25% greater tensile strength than cast units and significantly reducing flex during operation (0.003" vs. up to 0.030" for cast units). This enhanced rigidity ensures consistent clutch operation and superior clamping force, maximizing power transfer. A key feature is the QR System (Quick Release Pressure Plate), which incorporates three spring-loaded bolts.
