The Clutch Masters FX850 Strapped Twin Disc Clutch Kit bridges the gap between a street-friendly single disc and the original FX850 Twin Disc. It uses drive straps to isolate the pressure plate and mid-plate, reducing chatter and smoothing engagement. It features one sprung ceramic disc and one rigid ceramic disc for slip prevention. The cover assembly is machined from billet aluminum and Type 3 hard anodized, offering 25% more tensile strength than cast units, reducing flex for consistent clutch operation and greater clamping force. The 850 Twin Disc can be upgraded to the DLX series with dampened discs for daily driving and racing. Flywheels are application-specific, available in billet 6061-T6 aluminum (SFI spec 1.2, Type 3 hard coat anodized, replaceable insert) or 1045 billet steel (black oxide treated for rust prevention).
