The Clutch Masters FX400 (6-Puck) clutch kit is an extreme-duty single-disc system designed for spirited street use, drag racing, and road racing. It features a heavy-duty pressure plate and a custom, extremely durable, sprung ceramic-lined 6-puck disc. The sprung hub design provides moderate dampening for high-torque applications, making it more street-able than solid designs. It offers long life, outstanding holding capacity, and rapid heat dissipation. IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the solid friction rivet design, the FX400 disc engages very quickly and may chatter slightly in first and reverse gears. Premium ceramic friction material is used to help mitigate this. This is a conversion kit that requires an aftermarket Clutch Masters flywheel and will not work with the OEM flywheel.
