Overview

The Clutch Masters FX725 is a 7.25" (184mm) Twin Disc clutch system designed for high-performance drag racing, capable of occasional street use. It handles significant horsepower and torque with reasonable pedal pressure. The cover assembly is machined from billet aluminum (Type 3 hard anodized) for 25% more tensile strength and reduced flex. Features the QR System (Quick Release Pressure Plate) with three spring-loaded bolts for smooth engagement/disengagement and up to 50% reduced internal clutch noise. Flywheels are available in billet 6061-T6 aluminum (SFI spec 1.2, Type 3 hard coat anodized, replaceable insert) or 1045 billet steel (black oxide treated). The smaller diameter 725 series reduces rotating mass for quicker, smoother shifting and improved throttle response. This 'Race' (TD7R) stage kit includes two ceramic rigid discs. Includes hydraulic slave cylinder, steel flywheel, and hydraulic release bearing.
