The Clutch Masters FX725 is a 7.25" (184mm) twin-disc race clutch system engineered for high-performance drag racing applications, especially for engines/transmissions with smaller bell-housings. It's designed to handle significant horsepower and torque while maintaining manageable pedal pressure for track use. The cover assembly is machined from billet aluminum and Type 3 hard anodized, offering approximately 25% more tensile strength than cast units. This billet construction minimizes flex (only 0.003" compared to 0.030" in cast units), ensuring consistent clutch operation and superior clamping force. It features a QR System (Quick Release Pressure Plate) with three spring-loaded bolts for smooth engagement/disengagement and reduced internal clutch noise/chatter (up to 50%).
