Clutch Masters 07 MazdaSPEED3 Custom 8.5in Twin Disc Clutch Kit

The Clutch Masters FX850 is an 8.5” (216mm) Twin Disc clutch, designed for engines/transmissions with smaller bell-housings. It is a high-performance clutch system suitable for both racing and street applications, capable of handling tremendous horsepower and torque while maintaining reasonable pedal pressure. The cover assembly is machined from billet aluminum and Type 3 hard anodized, offering increased tensile strength and reduced flex compared to cast units. The 850 Twin Disc can be upgraded to the DLX series for dampened discs. It features Clutch Masters' unique QR System (Quick Release Pressure Plate) for even and smooth engagement/disengagement and reduced clutch noise. Flywheels are made for specific applications in either billet 6061-T6 aluminum (SFI spec 1.2, hard coat anodized, replaceable insert) or 1045 billet steel (black oxide treated for rust prevention). The kit includes a release bearing and requires a Clutch Masters flywheel (e.g., FW-306-B-TDS), which is sold separately.
