Overview

The Clutch Masters FX850 is an 8.5" (216mm) twin-disc clutch designed for high-horsepower applications. It offers substantial horsepower and torque holding while maintaining reasonable pedal pressure. The cover assembly is machined from billet aluminum and hard anodized, providing 25% more tensile strength and reduced flex for consistent operation. The QR System (Quick Release Pressure Plate) features three spring-loaded bolts for smooth engagement and up to a 50% reduction in internal clutch noise. The "Street" version (TD8S) includes one sprung ceramic disc and one fiber tuff rigid disc. Recommended for drag racing and occasional street use.
