The Short Shift (SS) series of billet aluminum clutch covers are designed for street-friendly performance with faster shifts, lighter rotating mass, and consistent pedal feel. It is suitable for daily driven street cars and dedicated race cars that do not require a twin disc clutch. The FX250SS system uses a Power Plus I Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate and a hybrid disc with Fiber Tough friction material on the pressure plate side and steel-backed organic friction material on the flywheel side. It is designed for spirited driving and occasional abuse, offering higher holding capacity than traditional full-faced kevlar without compromising street-friendly characteristics.
