Clutch Masters 09-14 Acura TSX 6MT FX350SS Short Shift Single Disc Clutch Kit

Our Short Shift (or SS) series of billet aluminum clutch covers were designed to take a typical single disc clutch kit to that next level of performance. From the get go our engineers sat down to develop a clutch kit that was street friendly, allowed for faster shifts, lighter rotating mass, and the consistent pedal feel you expect from a clutch on the track. Features include shorter, faster, more precise shifts, 10% lighter than OE stamped steel cover, fits stock single disc flywheel, heavier diaphragm for increased clamping force, and a modified pivot point for a minimally heavier pedal feel. Works with factory hydraulics and comes with a new throw out bearing, alignment tool, instruction card, and decals. The FX350SS System uses the Power Plus I, Hi-Levarage, Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate utilizing our Fiber-Tough friction material. This clutch has a slightly increased holding capacity than the FX300SS but will have a slightly more aggressive engagement and will produce some chatter. Designed for serious street enthusiasts who also might spend a weekend at the track, running a normally aspirated car that has been highly tuned with cylinder head work such as cams, or with a medium-boost turbo or supercharger setup, or up to 100hp NO2.
