The Clutch Masters FX725 is a 7.25" (184mm) Twin Disc clutch kit. The 17827-TD7S-SH is the "Street and Race" (TD7S) stage, featuring one ceramic rigid disc and one fiber tuff rigid disc. Designed for drag racing, it is also suitable for occasional street driving. The cover assembly is precision-machined from billet aluminum and hard anodized, providing 25% more tensile strength and reduced flex. It incorporates the QR System (Quick Release Pressure Plate) for smooth engagement, disengagement, and up to 50% reduction in clutch noise/chatter. Flywheels are application-specific, available in billet 6061-T6 aluminum (SFI spec 1.2 compliant) or 1045 billet steel cores (black oxide treated).
