The Clutch Masters FX850 is an 8.5” (216mm) Twin Disc clutch kit designed for ultimate performance in high-horsepower street and race applications with smaller bell-housings. It handles immense power and torque while maintaining reasonable pedal pressure. The system achieves an average 50% increase in pedal pressure by enhancing clamping force and disc area. The cover assembly is machined from billet aluminum and Type 3 hard anodized, offering approximately 25% more tensile strength than cast units. The 8.5" Twin Disc setup reduces weight without sacrificing friction surface, utilizing ceramic/ceramic clutch discs for an extremely high torque rating. Its sprung-hub design provides smoother engagement than the FX725 kit, making it suitable for high-performance street, track, race, or drift applications.
