The FX400 System uses the Power Plus I, Hi-Levarage, Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate with a custom and extremely durable, Sprung Ceramic disc. It offers a 170% increase in holding capacity and is designed for street and/or road/drag racing. It is available in 6 or 8 ceramic puck configuration, with 6-puck being more aggressive. The sprung hub design provides moderate dampening for high-torque applications, making it more street-friendly than solid or rigid designs. This disc is designed for long life, outstanding holding capacity, and rapid heat dissipation. The FX400/HDCL (8-puck) ceramic full face disc design creates a quick and rapid engagement and maintains minimal chatter due to the marcel cushion between the disc linings, suitable for street-driven vehicles. The FX400/HDC6 (6-Puck) ceramic paddle design creates a quick and rapid engagement as well as clutch chatter that may not be ideal for street-driven vehicles.
