The Clutch Masters FX500 System is a race-only single-disc clutch kit designed for outstanding holding capacity and rapid heat dissipation. It utilizes a Power Plus II Pressure Plate with a rigid (unsprung) center 6 or 8 Puck Ceramic Button disc or a Sintered Iron Disc. It features a Hi-Leverage design, ductile iron casting, heavy-duty straps, precision heat-treated diaphragms, special friction-reducing lubricant, and exceptionally high clamping force. This is a RACE ONLY clutch with Heavy Pedal Pressure, and the ceramic paddle design creates quick and rapid engagement as well as clutch chatter, making it not recommended for street use. It is SFI Certified to spec 1.2 for competition in NHRA, NDRA, IDRC, IHRA, SCCA, and NASA.
