The Clutch Masters FX725 is a 7.25" (184mm) Twin Disc clutch designed for high horsepower/torque applications, suitable for drag racing and occasional street use. It features a billet aluminum, Type 3 hard anodized cover assembly for increased tensile strength and reduced flex, resulting in consistent clutch operation and greater clamping force. The QR System (Quick Release Pressure Plate) uses three spring-loaded bolts for smooth engagement/disengagement and up to 50% reduced clutch noise/chatter. Steel flywheels are application-specific, machined from 1045 billet cores, and black oxide treated. The "TD7S" designation signifies a Street and Race disc configuration, including one ceramic rigid disc and one fiber tuff rigid disc.
