Clutch Masters 92-01 Honda Civic 1.5/1.6L SOHC FX725 Race/Street Clutch (Must use CM FW-702-TDA)

The Clutch Masters FX725 "Street and Race" (TD7S) is a 7.25" (184mm) Twin Disc clutch kit for high-performance street and drag racing. It features a billet aluminum cover assembly (Type 3 hard anodized) with 25% more tensile strength than cast units, designed to minimize flex and provide consistent clutch operation. This TD7S version includes one ceramic rigid disc and one fiber tuff rigid disc. The 725 Series is developed from drag racing experience to handle tremendous horsepower and torque with reasonable pedal pressure. While not ideal for everyday street driving due to minimal rotational mass, improvements in friction material allow for occasional street use. A unique QR (Quick Release) System incorporates three spring-loaded bolts for even and smooth engagement/disengagement, reducing internal clutch noise/chatter by up to 50%. This kit requires the use of a Clutch Masters flywheel (CM FW-702-TDA), which is not included. The kit includes a release bearing, pilot bearing, alignment tool, and pressure plate bolts. Optional Clutch Masters aluminum flywheels (sold separately) are machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum to meet SFI spec 1.2, Type 3 hard coat anodized with a replaceable insert. Steel flywheels are also available (1045 billet cores, black oxide treated).
